manifestlatest.yml — the auto-updater reads the same file, so the hash always matches what you get.

Fair questions

Do I have to install it?: No — the web app runs in the browser with the same features. The desktop build is for people who want files on local disk, native shortcuts and auto-update.

Where do my notes live?: In the folder you pick, as plain .md. Move it, zip it, put it in Dropbox — we never require an import.

Will old versions keep working?: Yes. Releases are listed on the release history page, and the desktop app can update itself without touching your vault.
